| Lexington Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Lexington Fire Department - proudly serves the nearly 300,000 citizens and protects 285 square miles of Fayette County. The Lexington Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services along with a variety of other hazard interventions to customers with 23 fire stations throughout the county. LFD has a contingent of 523 sworn personnel, all of which are certified Firefighters and EMT's and over 200 of which are paramedics.
